How did it start?

OUR HISTORY

As customers for furniture products, we were looking for a product that did not contain any carcinogenic substances, did not sensitize and did not have a negative impact on humans. In addition, we were looking for an alternative to wood, which is a valuable forest resource that.

WHAT IS BIOBOARD

This is the only furniture board on the market that does not contain formaldehydes, cyanides and PMDI.
Our bioboards are made of plant fibers of all kinds of crops and hemp combined with a protein glue resin.
Already in the process of joining, the smell of the board is a testimony to the natural ingredients used and resembles roasting grain in a bakery. Such a material is not only a visual aspect but also a special microclimate of the room. The smell gives the entire interior a uniqueness and has a positive influence on humans.

STRUCTURE OF BIOBOARD

By mixing different fractions of plant fibers and giving them different directions and positions relative to each other, we obtain optimum load-bearing capacity. The density of the board is, depending on the thickness: 550-650 kg/m3

FINISHING METHODS

Our bioboard can be finished in a number of ways. From veneers, fabrics or lamination to painting with pigmented oil paints. For minimalists who prefer a natural look, we recommend leaving them raw.

HOW TO WORK WITH IT?

Bioplate has the same processing parameters as standard furniture boards. Milling, drilling sockets – everything is done with the same tools.

ADVANTAGES OF BIOPLATES:

In the initial process, the crushed raw material is filtered (this process removes all dust and pollen particles) and subjected to high temperature evaporation (this part of the process removes all microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and molds), such a process of producing boards makes our product ideal for people with allergic problems, especially those allergic to exposure to various types of plant pollen.

Our Bioplates consist only of renewable plant raw materials, more precisely mixtures of crops straw and hemp. In combining them, we use only protein glue resin and pressure, which makes them a unique product on the world market.
Therefore, our product is free from formaldehyde, isocyanates and PMDI.
It has been tested in this respect by the Poznań Institute of Technology.
